Gifts for Grandparents, parents, aunties and uncles.

Presents for your Grandma, Uncle, Grandad, Auntie - right down to your Mum and Dad!

Monday, 7th December 2009.

Last night I was hunting for Christmas presents online because I just have no ideas about what to get my Grandma and Grandad!

In the end for my Grandma, I decided on a personalised jigsaw, so that the picture is a photo of her grandchildren - quite soppy but she likes puzzles! I'm still stumped for ideas with regards to my Grandad however... I usually get him a book about the war or some diabetic chocolate, but I'm going to try something else this year!

Meanwhile for my Auntie and Uncle, I hit upon the perfect idea! I've always found Gift Experiences to be over priced and a let down. Yesterday I found a dance class set for £30, which would give you an hour but it wasn't 1 on 1, which means the dance class were making a fortune! Or afternoon tea for £60! Cakes, "fine tea" and sandwiches - far too expensive. But then I found a food experience, right in my budget (£30) and will let them choose from restaurants, wine tasting - right through to fudge making! So there should be something to suit them, and I think £30 is worth it for a present unlike anything I've given them before, that they can enjoy together.
