Halloween Party Essentials - make it a night to remember!

Friday 30th October 2009

Are you feeling spooked yet?! If not, why not?!

If you're entertaining this Halloween, then the first thing you need is a big bag of trick or treat sweets - I particularly love these Halloween Party bags from Lakeland. Then you need the Halloween party decorations - whether you want fake cobwebs hanging from the light fittings or a mummified corpse in the corner, you need to set the scene!

Food wise, kit yourself out with red food colouring and have some fun icing scary looking cakes. There are some great ideas for brain melons and eerie eyeballs on the SuperPunch blog. Oh my goodness! I just looked at that blog again! The Killer Rats (surrounding a severed arm) and the head with not much skin left are revolting! (But very creative!)

Make sure you've got some classic party tunes - particularly Asda's Halloween Party! CD.

And then it comes to one of the most important parts - the Host's Halloween Costume! Halloween allows you to let your imagination run wild when it comes to your outfit. Whether you want to be a sexy temptress, or a horrifying spectacle that turns the stomach, you can let yourself get carried away! Check out our selection here.
